Corey Haim the Pick Up Artist?

Last fall Neil Strauss took a couple of washed up former child stars, David “Bud Bundy” Faustino and Corin “Parker Lewis” Nemec, and made some incredibly lame videos with them in order to promote his new book Rules of the Game.

Well, it looks like we can add another former child star to the PUA list…

…Corey Haim!

Below is a video from A&E’s site showing Haim trying to pickup a girl at a signing with Corey Feldman:

First things first, this is a promotional clip for “The Two Coreys”, a fake reality show on A&E about Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. These two guys starred together in several teen movies like Lost Boys and License to Drive in the late 80’s.

The schtick of the show is that Feldman is married and settled down and Haim is an out-of-control single fuck-up.

I can only assume this clip is as staged as the show but I still get a kick out of it.

Haim is as direct as can be. It only makes sense in that scenario.

I particularly found it amusing when the girl asked if he was going to call the number right away to check if it was real.

Anyhow, you can download the show at iTunes by clicking the following icon: The Two Coreys

As a side note, Susie Feldman (Corey Feldman’s wife) is in the August issue of Playboy and she is damn fine!

I’ve always thought one day Tarantino would revive the Corey’s careers like he did Travolta (although Travolta went and fucked it up again)

how great would it be to see the Corey in Tarantino movie?

I actually like Haim and would like to see the guy make a come back.

But after Grindhouse flopping so bad, I think that someone needs to come and revive Tarantino’s career rather than him reviving anyone elses.
