How To Stop Hoarding and Declutter Your House

I have a confession…. I’m a hoarder, just like the T.V. show.

HoardersI acquire things I do not need and have problems being able to throw things away. It leads to having a real messy apartment.

You don’t have to have a mansion to impress women. You don’t have to have expensive furniture. But you MUST keep your living quarters clean and clutter-free. Otherwise, women become turned off and uncomfortable.

Two years ago I sold a lot of my crap. But I still have thousands of items in my closets, storage areas and parents’ home that I don’t use or need. I have made a pact with myself to sell, donate or throw away all these unnecessary items within the next 3 months.

I advise that you go through your dwelling and get rid of any unneeded clothes, shoes, games, movies, etc. Between now and Christmas is a good time to sell things on eBay. You can make the most money by using this special guide to selling on eBay.

I also recommend that you pick hobbies that don’t involve “collecting” material possessions. In my life, I have collected baseball cards, CDs, DVDs, comic books, video games and other space consuming things that will make most women roll their eyes. I’ve decided to take up new hobbies such as playing sports, blogging and working out.

The reality is that I used to get a “rush” buying and hoarding things. As Tyler Durden said in Fight Club, “The things you own end up owning you.” I now get my rush from being social and doing productive activities.
