How To Use Your Free Time More Constructively

What do you do when you’re not working or going to school?

Do you play video games? Watch Netflix? (I’m talking watching Netflix by yourself.. not “Netflix and chill”. ;-) )

For example, a friend of mine is excited about a video game called “Fallout 4″ which is coming out next week.

He’s 26 years old and plans to spend $60 on a video game and play it by himself for probably 60+ hours of his life.

Is that “productive”? Is he going to learn any “life skills” when it’s all said and done?

Probably not. Unless there happens to be a nuclear war in the near future. ;-)

I understand the need for “entertainment”. But I suggest seeking entertainment that is more social and productive.

So what’s some examples you ask?

Join a “Meetup” group. Take a class at a local school or theater. Go to a sporting event and chat with other fans while tailgating.

Recently, I signed up for an improv class. I learned how to be more quick witted. As a surprise bonus, there were some really hot girls in the class.

Don’t want to leave the house today? Fine. Then learn something to better yourself.

Read a self-help book. Watch an informative documentary. Buy and study a dating or relationship product.

As I get older, I realize life is finite. We’re not going to be on this planet forever. Spend the time you have wisely and productively.

Don’t waste your time saving princesses in video games. Go interact with real women.

Stop trying to live vicariously through a superhero and his love interest in a TV show. Seek to find real life love and adventure.

Don’t know where to start? Go watch this informative and entertaining video about how to find and attract a girlfriend.

It’s much more productive than shooting on-screen zombies or watching super heroes in tights fight each other ;-)

It’s casual,
