Dr. PhilApparently the often rumored Ross Jeffries (author of How to Get the Women You Desire into Bed) and Savoy (of The Mystery Method) episode of The Dr. Phil Show airs this Friday, April 11th.

The title of the episode is going to be called “Women Beware”. Did you expect any other title for an episode of Dr. Phil with PUA’s on it?

Here’s the write up for the episode on the Dr. Phil website:

Women beware: Men are on the prowl! … men learn the slick techniques of pick-up artists so they can get you in the sack! Go inside a classroom where single men are being taught The Mystery Method — a step-by-step technique on how to meet, attract and date beautiful women. The founders say their method teaches guys to be more confident. When the students hit the bars, will The Mystery Method help them land a lady? What do the women think of their techniques? Then, meet Ross Jeffries, the self-proclaimed “Father of Seduction.” He says he’s taught thousands of men to seduce women through language. Now he fears that he’s created monsters, because many of his followers are seducing woman through deception, and he says that’s exactly what The Mystery Method is all about. A heated debate ensues between Ross and the creators of The Mystery Method, Nick and Scott. Is Ross’ technique actually as benign as he claims? … If you’re a lady looking for love but don’t want to find heartache, you won’t want to miss this show!

The description says that Ross is “the self-proclaimed Father of Seduction”. Ross follows that up by self-proclaiming himself the champion of the episode in this excerpt from a post on SargeNation where he brags himself up in the third person:

Ross stops Dr. Phil in his loudmouth tracks and debates Nick Savoy(and hands Nick his ass).

All I can say about this in general is AAAAAAAARGH! Everything about this disgusts me from all sides.

I’m trying so hard to bite my tongue with this one but you know I’m probably going to make a comment about it later this week and it is not going to be pretty. You’re not going to want to miss it so you better subscribe to this blog now.

In the mean time read this post on Neil Strauss on The View from last November.

You can visit Ross Jeffries’ Speed Seduction site. I recommend his Speed Seduction Starter Kit which includes a ton of MP3s and ebooks for under $30.

The Mystery Method company is now called “Love Systems”. You can visit there site by clicking here. There introductory product for people new to their teachings is their Magic Bullets ebook while their Routines Manual is their newest product.

Ugh, this is not going to be good for the community. Now I know what Neil Strauss was talking about when he mentioned the Dr. Phil debacle. Seems like the community will be on damage control mode yet again.

I understand that these guys run their own businesses and they want to promote their businesses, but I do not think the Dr. Phil show is the place to do it. I know there is a segment of the community that wants the community to go mainstream, but what the community teaches isn’t geared for the lazy quick-fix mentality that sells so well in America today. It is the physics of relationship advice and beyond the effort of what most people are willing to commit. Also, I do not think I have ever seen really favorable media coverage of the community at any point.

The only words I can think of is for these guys are “Sell out.”

Mainstream is nothing but bad news. I doubt women who become aware will find SS or MM flattering.

Nothing beats lowering your SV like being called on a pickup line, technique, or language pattern.

What the fuck are these guy’s thinking?
