Here’s a supposed audition of two guys trying to replace J Dog and Matador as Mystery’s wingmen for the The Pickup Artist on VH1.
The parody is done by comedians Max Silvestri and Joe Mande.
They make light-hearted jabs at the acronyms, canned openers, peacocking, and erotic fruit kissing that is on the show. Some hit and some miss.
It was a bit overly homo erotic for my taste but I guess that is to be expected when the last two episodes of the show involved guys crying and holding hands.
Overall I thought it was well done and amusing. With all the early 90’s hip hop and R ‘n B groups mentioned they should have said they were down with “O.P.P.”.
