VH1 released a press release today promoting their new and returning series for January.
“Scott Baio is 45…and Single” is returning as “Scott Baio is 46…and Pregnant” (what a dumb ass name that is).
Rock of Love with Brett Michaels is also returning with a second season.
Chachi’s show aired just before “The Pickup Artist” and Brett’s just after it. Yet there is no mention of another season of “The Pickup Artist” in the press release. In fact, the show hasn’t been formally announced to have been picked up for a second season at all.
This doesn’t mean Mystery and company are not going to come back later. But to me it is not a good sign when shows that aired around the time of its first season are returning for their next season and it is not.
If you have any information about when or if “The Pickup Artist” returns please let me know.

This show got me into the seduction community, but I wouldn’t be that sad if it got canceled. The more promotion the show gets the less material we have to use. And I know that it’s kind of greedy to say this, but I like my canned shit, lol.

If it’s true they’re taking a pass on it, then I think it’s a good thing. The less mainstream exposure this stuff gets, the better. Although, aren’t they going to make Strauss’ “The Game” into a movie, too?
